This site-specific sculpture questions scale and functionality. After an unused Dasani vending machine was removed, a stain was left in its place, much like the shadow left on a foreclosed business after the sign had been removed.
Less than 24 hours after being installed, a passerby snapped a picture and published it online. Since then, it has been picked up by such humor blogs as Tumblr, LAD Bible, and LaughterKey.
